What a gift to get to know Jesus starting at a young age! Volunteers come alongside parents to share the love of Jesus and help their kids' faith grow through creative storytelling, engaging music, and fun activities. We hope to lovingly tend to the garden of their hearts. “The point of parenting isn’t to have all the answers before we start out but instead to figure it out on the go as our children grow, because as they do, so will we.” -Bridgett Miller
For our Online Campus families as well as those who want extra Kids Ministry content outside of Sundays, we produce weekly videos geared especially for little ones based on the Grow curriculum we’ve been using the last several years. They drop each Sunday and include an upbeat worship time and lively Bible story.
- Make the Bible come alive
- The basics of the Bible
- The salvation journey
- Boost the adventure of being a follower of Jesus
- The what, why, and how of worship
- Learn scripture and how to apply it
- Showcase the talent and abilities God has given them
- Teach them how to use their gifts
The transition from childhood to adolescence is a wild ride. Middle schoolers are constantly questioning their identity and worth. During the ups and downs of this stage of life, as a ministry team, we hope to build a strong foundation of faith in our youth by first instilling in them that God loves them deeply and they have tremendous value. Then, we can teach them habits that relate to their spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being, to enhance the quality of their life.
We also hope to love on our parents, so the whole family is strengthened in the Lord. Together, with God as our guide, we can pour into our youth to give them hope and a future.
Mission: Invite youth to make faith their own through a life-giving relationship with Jesus and each other. There are so many messages our teenagers are bombarded with through their phones, and they are hugely influenced by their peers. It is our desire, as a youth team, to capture their focus by first developing a relationship with them. We see so much in our youth: their strengths and potential. We desire to fan the flames, to help them grow in kingdom ways by teaching them the Word. In order to do that, we hope to point them to the ways of Jesus by interacting with them in their digital world, in visual formats that they use and like, such as YouTube, Instagram, and gaming sites.
We don't just want kids to come to church on Sunday and leave it at that. We plan lots of youth group events outside of our Sunday services that can help your students bond with kids from church. From movie nights to summer camps, we want your kids to stay engaged with Jesus all year-long and make lasting friendships.
We encourage you to bring your own Bible, but no worries if you don’t, we’ve got you covered! If you love our youth church group, bring your friends, too. The more the merrier!
