OUR VALUES
BIBLE FOCUSED
The Bible is a treasure trove of writings that are God-breathed. Woven together, they all point to God's love story to save humanity. We stick closely to what it teaches.
CREATIVITY
We believe in using our gifts and talents both collectively and individually to express ourselves. We have a lot of fun along the way.
COMMUNITY
We need each other. Part of living out our Christian faith is loving each other well and holding each other to a godly standard. This involves regularly checking in with each other and supporting each other.
MISSIONAL
We look at each other and the city around us in the best light possible, treating each other with respect, never making assumptions, and welcoming folks in from all walks of life.
OUR MISSION
WE BELIEVE
The Bible is the Word of God. It is fully trustworthy in all it teaches and affirms.
II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:20-21
In one eternal God who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that our Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and without sin. He is truly God and truly man.
Mark 12:29, I Timothy 3:16, John 1:1 & 14
Everyone is born with a broken, sinful nature and cannot be saved except through faith in Christ. We confess His atoning death and resurrection. We believe Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.
Ephesians 2:8, Romans 3:23, John 14:6
In committing to the truth of God’s Word as it has been embraced and proclaimed by the Christian Church for generations, regardless of its popularity or prevailing cultural trends.
1 Peter 1:22-25, I Corinthians 15:1-4, Jude 1:3, Genesis 2:20, Matthew 19:4-6
Grace, healing, love, godly justice, and service are essential parts to any viable witness of Christ.
Micah 6:8, James 5:14-16, John 13:34-35, Mark 10:43-45
In taking a humble, compassionate posture towards the lost and unbelieving, rather than a mean-spirited or judgmental attitude, even as we seek to embrace the Christian message with intensity and passion.
Mark 10:42-45, I Peter 3:15
Christians should seek to live a godly life and contend for moral and sexual purity as commanded in the Holy Scriptures.
I John 5:2-3, I Corinthians 6:9-20
Jesus has given the church ordinances of water baptism, and the Lord’s Supper (communion) for the believers’ identification with His life, death, and resurrection until His return.
Acts 2:38, I Corinthians 11:23-26, I Thessalonians 4:16-17
